TiMax Soundhub VR is a 16 track dedicated audio player for tightly-synchronized, low-latency immersive audio in multimedia VR content for the theme-park ride-car and experiential-exhibit marketplaces..

Each Soundhub system incorporates a scalable multi-channel audio matrix and mix engine to handle multiple tracks and multiple zones in a variety of performance and presentation AV installations ranging from museum, themed attraction, boardroom, hotels, bars and clubs through to theatre, opera, cruise ships and house of worship.

Soundhub VR Player Features

The most powerful and flexible multi-track audio player available

playback

A 16 channel audio player with multi-track playback of up to 16 tracks per cue. Tracks can be built up to create a sound mix in real-time that maybe edited later without having to remix the show. tracks all run independently of each other and can be time shifted.

Show Controller

An optional show controller adds an intuitive and sophisticated show control suite which can be used to run a show or program the player to respond to external cues from MIDI. Ethernet IP, GPIO and others to animate the sound as required

audio animator

A delay matrix gives the sound designer tools to move sound or focus in a space with the existing speaker system, combined with software to program the delays in a fast and intuitive way. The matrix compensates for less than ideal speaker positioning and can up mix from a recording format like 5.1 to a larger space with many more speakers creating the same image as the studio

Audio Matrix

In addition to playback the VR player can route any track to any combination of outputs. Varying the level and delay to each output for every track and changing it during playback positions sound accurately within the space. Combined with parametric EQ and a show control system the TiMax VR player provides a complete audio toolset on-site. Speaker outputs a EQ'd within the player.

integration

The standard VR player triggers from GPIO in less than 1 millisecond providing powerful sound effects exactly when you need them. MIDI control and Ethernet commands are included, a built in port for a cue translator takes Ethernet IP commands and many others

themed environments

Museums and Attractions are lifted to a new level with immersive sound that is fast to respond and slaves to video. No need to mix with an expensive setup on site and worry about returning to change it. The TiMax show controller can play multi-track and mix it in real-time, changes can be uploaded as needed.
